In a time when there is a great need for us humans to be warriors and artists of our lives, we turn to Kontomble to remind us what it is to speak in soul voice—in a voice that is colorful and messy—and to act from a heart that is passionately engaged.
"Kontomble" is the name the Dagara people from Burkina Faso give to the little people—our interdimensional allies and carriers of messages of love, healing, justice. Cross-culturally, we have known them as faeries, menehune, leprechauns, duendes, huldufolk. They reside in dew drops on leaves. They reside in crags and caves. They have resided in time, and outside time. They are amongst our strongest advocates as we remember our vast possibilities of courage, capacity, and imagination.
Join kontomble voice diviner Monica Mody in a conversation about how we may best honor our relationship with the kontomble nations in these times. We will ring kontomble in after this. A community voice divination is the time to bring your questions around collective and personal healing, transformation, and empowerment. Come with open, vivid hearts. Carry with you a quarter or similar coin for the spirits.
